Solar hot water and electricity books for the ATA

ATA Solar Hot Water and Solar Electricity Booklets

The Alternative Technology Association (ATA) exists in Australia to show the way for the growing group of people who are interested in sustainable living.

It's a leading not-for-profit organisation that's been around since 1980 and is a market leader in promoting sustainable technologies and practices for residential homes and workplaces. With unbiased advice and decades of knowledge and experience, the ATA helps with designing and retrofitting homes to increase their energy efficiency. They are also a veritable gold mine of sources of how-tos for people to use when improving renewable energy around the home and living sustainably.

There are over 5,500 members in branches around Australia and New Zealand, so when any of them need information, the ATA is where they go to get it.

Two booklets printed by PrintTogether are particularly useful - one a concise guide to solar power systems, the other a guide to energy efficient hot water systems. Each booklet is A5, consists of 68 pages of handy tips and information, and of course, was created with environmentally friendly printing.

Digitally printed on EcoStar 100% recycled paper, the two booklets are as green as the sustainable knowledge you get from reading them.

Each cover is designed similarly, with simple layouts and an approachable, friendly vibe that's conveyed through the casual typography and easy-to-read bullet points. An image of solar panels adorns the booklet on solar electricity while the hot water booklet depicts the rooftop system that can offer an environmentally friendly hot water system in the home.

You can, if you prefer, download these booklets online. But if you'd rather have a physical copy you can rest assured the clean green printing used means they are as sustainable as any brochure can be.
