Explore your horizons with MIECAT

You've spent years studying and you've finally got your degree, congratulations! What now?

Marvellous MIECAT

MIECAT offers post graduate courses - specialising in experiential and creative arts practice for people who want to learn about arts therapy.

With this school, you can delve into the world of individual and family therapy and group work. You'll also cover community work and teaching/student welfare or arts practice. Basically, the team at MIECAT is all about showing you how real connections and healthy developments can be made with art as a base.

The MIECAT Institute came to be because of the meetings Dr Warren Lett held in 1992 at his home. Who is Dr Lett? He is a psychologist, psychotherapist and lecturer in Counselling at La Trobe University. Dr Lett, along with Dr Jean Rumbold, Dr Jan Allen and Andrew Morrish - who were collectively researchers and artists - came up with a new approach to counselling.

MIECAT stands for the Melbourne Institute for Experiential and Creative Arts Therapy and blossomed from a budding group in 1997 to a flourishing accredited qualifications authority in 1999.

Perfect postcards

We've worked together with MIECAT to produce stunning recycled postcards that show both the amazing education opportunities and fresh take on learning that this school has.

The front of the postcard has the acronym spaced out at the bottom, in Scrabble pieces. Orange buttons sit toward the top, in bright orange, with what the school provides written out in orange typewriter font.

These details rest on a vintage saturated picture of a road stretching into the horizon, with "curious?" and an arrow pointing into the distance. You immediately get the impression that there's more to be discovered, and a visit to the free information workshops (information for which is found on the back in clear text) might be your first step on your journey.

We printed the recycled postcards on 350gsm EcoStar paper stock with vegetable based inks for a crisp finish.
