Discovering new music with The Seed Fund

Don't you love it when you discover a new musician and it feels like you've stumbled on something magic? The Seed Fund is all about bringing music to the people and supporting the artists in their venture to carve out a place for themselves in the industry.

All about The Seed Fund

This Australian organisation doesn't work for profit, it works for the musicians. The Seed Fund was established by John Butler (yes, of the trio of the same name!) in 2005, thanks to a donation to the Australian business arts Foundation's Australia Cultural Fund.

John Butler is a bona-fide musician in his own right - he's an award winning singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record label owner and producer - and it's thanks to him and a dedicated team that the organisation can offer grants to other Australian artists.

Musicians from any background and working in any genre can get help from The Seed Fund. You can get help to start or simply maintain a long and rich career, contributing to the vivid culture of Australia.

Another great element of The Seed Fund is their workshops. Through these, artists who are just getting started and those who have been in the biz for years can learn from each other, about promotional strategies and more.

Where PrintTogether comes in

The Seed Fund printed program was created in conjunction with PrintTogether, and we couldn't be more proud to be a part of this project. We used 140gsm EcoStar paper stock with digital printing to produce a beautiful, environmentally friendly booklet.

The program provides information about everything you could possibly want to know about the 2014 management workshop. The 16 page, A4 booklet is sleek, chic and accessible. The first section of the booklet has profiles of the speakers, with pictures and a blurb about each. Following that there is the daily schedule. A colour theme of teal, violet, mint and midnight blue with readable but funky headlining text ties everything together.
