Photography with Cassie opts for environmental postcard prints

Everyone has a story to tell, but it's not always told through words. Like it's been said time and time again, a picture paints a thousand words.

Photography is a brilliant way to share the stories of people from all walks of life and Cassie Sullivan uses this medium to document many adventurers.

The Tasmanian born-and-bred photographer runs Photography with Cassie, and captures the fun and craziness of weddings, as well as the spontaneity and honesty of children among other subjects.

Cassie's snaps have an 'organic-feel' about them, with much of her photography having a natural element about it. There's photo shoots set in overgrown grass, forests, vibrant gardens and golden-sand beaches!

Cassie describes photography as her adventure, confidence and haven, stating that she will "never grow tired" of discovering someone's personality and the "challenge" of recording moments of their life.

The Photography with Cassie blog showcases much of her work, from wedding shots to travel snaps in Bali and California. One of her most recent projects was a Melbourne editorial shoot for the food brand The Wild. Melissa and Romana of The Wild were featured in shots with their product, with the Melbourne wilderness serving as the perfect backdrop. The lemon and blueberry bircher muesli was propped up on a rugged-looking log, while there were some fantastic shots of Melissa and Romana basking in the sunset.

To help promote her business, Cassie opted for clean green printing for her floral, nature-inspired postcards. With five designs including 'be wild', 'dream' and 'follow your heart', Cassie printed her postcards on 100 per cent post-consumer recycled 350gsm EcoStar paper. These postcard designs help to reinforce the organic, whimsical-feel of Photography with Cassie, with earthy tones and the use of vegetable-based inks.
