Enviro-friendly design game cards for Eco Innovators

More people are looking at ways in which their homes and businesses can become more sustainable as a way to save on costs and also look after the environment.

Eco Innovators is one such company, with a dedication to finding innovative ways of "communicating, engaging and developing real world sustainability solutions".

The multidisciplinary creative agency is led by Leyla Acaroglu, a leading proponent of systemic life cycle based sustainability and design strategist. Some of Acaroglu's achievements include being named one of Melbourne's Top 11 People of Influence in 2010, a finalist in the City of Melbourne Awards for her work in sustainability and also being invited to present at the TED2013 conference in Long Beach, California.

There has been much praise of Acaroglu and Eco Innovators' work with Michael Short of The Age commenting that the business provides not only students and academic with ways to embrace responsibility and sustainability in design, but also businesses.

One of Eco Innovators' many projects include Design Play Cards which were created to "challenge, inspire, and inform" designers about ways they can implement sustainability in product development.

There are 50 playing cards in the deck, with three sets that include Design Problems, Design Strategies and Design Inspiration. These play cards are a fun way to create conversation about sustainable ideas in your company, and can be used in meetings, workshops and board rooms.

Keeping in line with their sustainable initiatives, Eco Innovators also opted for environmentally friendly printing for their Design Play Cards, digitally printing them on 100 per cent post-consumer recycled 350gsm EcoStar Gloss paper.
