Arena Theatre - House of Dreaming

PrintTogether worked with Arena Theatre Company to print and die-cut a series of mailing list / feedback cards for their production The House of Dreaming. The cards were printed black only using vegetable based inks on 350gsm EcoStar - a premium white 100% post-consumer recycled paper. The cards were then die-cut into 3 unique shapes to create simple, intriguing and memorable shapes.

Arena Theatre is one of Australia’s leading youth-focused theatre companies. Their recent work The House of Dreaming is a ground-breaking interactive work: an immersive journey into the landscape of dreams, for children aged 5 to 8 and their families.

A house lies slumbering, long abandoned. Littered with the exotic bric-a-brac of its former occupants, the house dreams wistfully of its past – and those who venture inside are drawn into its strange and vivid dreamscape: a life-sized storybook world of imagination and wonder.

Arena have constructed an incredible interactive playground – a fabulous full-sized house designed to delight the curious and reward the adventurous. Using an innovative combination of robotics, performers, projections and motion-sensitive detectors, they have created a truly unique journey through an evocative, ever-changing landscape.

An astounding sensory feast designed around the natural playfulness of children, The House of Dreaming is a surreal voyage into a world of imagination.
