In conversation with illustrator & designer Natalie Martin

We had a chat with Natalie Martin, a graphic designer and freelance illustrator. We discussed aspects of being a designer, such as working with clients, style, and digital vs. freehand work. 

"When I've got a new project and I've got to develop some ideas and present them back to the client, I really enjoy speaking directly to the client, not necessarily about the project itself, but finding more out about them, what they're into, and what drives them to do what they do. I then take that information and research their competitors and try to present them a unique point of view rather than something that's a derivative."
